The Empathy Network
This blog is an expression of my life. As I enter middle-age I find myself navigating - - sometimes blindfolded - - the areas of parenting, mental health, self-care, and soul-recovery. My hope is to give others strength and hope by sharing my own experience and real-life stories.
The Empathy Network was created in honor of my father, Joe Bonetti, a successful woodworker and loving father and grandfather. Joe battled the disease of alcoholism. He died sober, happy, and in the loving arms of Higher Power. My father changed lives through his work with Alcoholics Anonymous
(AA) (https://www.aa.org) and other public outreach programs (no affiliation). I hope to continue his service work through this blog.
