What is Metaphysical Ministry?
Metaphysical ministry is a form of spiritual leadership and practice rooted in metaphysics—a branch of philosophy that explores the fundamental nature of reality, existence, consciousness, and the "first cause" or ultimate truths beyond the purely physical world (literally "meta" meaning beyond, + "physics").
In this context, it functions as religion without dogma. It emphasizes universal spiritual laws (such as the power of thought, oneness with the divine, manifestation, and the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit), personal empowerment, self-realization, and the idea that individuals co-create their reality through consciousness and alignment with a higher universal intelligence or God-force.
About
My Story
At 40 years old – with three young children – my life crumbled. An abrupt end to my career, loss of a home, and general family dysfunction landed me in the hospital with a Major Depressive episode. Following discharge, I fell into a major clinical depression with regular panic attacks. My life became completely unmanageable, and I submitted to the universe, knowing that only a power greater than myself could help me. As time went by, I slowly got better.
As I climbed out of my depression through the gift of *Al-anon’s Twelve Steps (no affiliation), I could see these shortcomings were actually blessings. At age 40, my career engulfed me, and my family was neglected. I never could have quit working on my own, Higher Power had to step in. I had to slow down and look around me; and when I did, I did not like what I saw. I was in poor health; my family was in dysfunction; changes needed to be made. With the help of my Higher Power, I started the work, and continue the work every day.
Now, my family and I are my priorities. I share what I learn on this blog.

My Background
Metaphysical Minister: Michele Orosco
I grew up in southern California and went to college in San Francisco. earning a degree in Communications. Post college I entered a career in early phase clinical research. After over 17 years in the research field, I chose to stop working and instead focus my time on helping others.
I perused a bachelors in Metaphysical Science and was ordained a minister in early 2026.
I am the Adult Child of an Alcoholic and open member of the Al-Anon Family Groups.
